Who we are

Nesavaruvi Boutique (“we”) sells handwoven sarees, kurtis and dupattas from Tamil Nadu through this website. To ask about your information, use Contact us.

What we collect, and why

• When you order: your name, mobile number, email (if you give one), delivery address and what you ordered. We use it to deliver your order, to message you about it, and to keep the records the law asks us to keep.
• When you book a video call: your name, WhatsApp number, what you are shopping for and the time you choose. We use it to set up the call and send you the link.
• When you ask to be told if a saree comes back: your WhatsApp number and which saree, so we can message you if it is back in stock.
• When you join our WhatsApp list: you message us on WhatsApp, so we have your number and can message you when a new collection arrives.
• Your basket, wishlist and recently viewed sarees: they are kept in your own browser, on your device. They are not sent to us (the basket only when you check out).
• Details you ask us to remember: if you leave “Remember my details” ticked at checkout, your contact details and address are kept in your own browser so you need not type them again. The pincode you check a delivery date for is also kept there. You can forget them at checkout, or by clearing your browser's site data.

How your order reaches us, and payments

When you order, your order and your details are sent to us by email (through Google's Gmail). If you choose Order by WhatsApp, they are also sent in a WhatsApp message from your own phone, which passes through WhatsApp (Meta). You pay us afterwards, by UPI or bank transfer, once we have confirmed your order in the chat. This website does not take payments and never sees your card, UPI or bank details.

Who we share it with

Only the people who help us serve you: the courier that delivers your order (it needs your name, address and mobile number), the email and messaging services we use to receive your order and write to you on WhatsApp, and the companies that host this website and store its information for us. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep order details for as long as we need them to look after your order and to meet tax and accounting rules. We keep your number on the WhatsApp list until you leave it.

Your choices

• You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. We will do this unless the law requires us to keep it.
• You can leave the WhatsApp list at any time by replying STOP to one of our messages.
• You can clear your basket, wishlist and recently viewed sarees by clearing your browser's site data.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It only stores your basket, wishlist, recently viewed sarees and the details you asked it to remember in your browser, so that they are still there when you come back.

Keeping it safe

We take sensible care to protect your information. No website can promise perfect security, but we will tell you if something goes wrong that affects you.

Changes

If we change this policy, we change the date at the top of this page.
